How to make Webflow AI-ready
Webflow is server-rendered (good for AI). Here's how to get it found, read and cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude & Gemini — then verify with a free scan.
The universal checklist
- Let AI crawlers in (robots.txt: allow GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended)
- Make sure content is in the HTML, not JavaScript-only
- Add Schema.org JSON-LD structured data
- Publish an llms.txt and an XML sitemap
- Set title, meta description, canonical and Open Graph tags
On Webflow specifically
- Edit robots.txt in Site Settings → SEO, and add the AI-crawler block.
- Add JSON-LD and Open Graph via Project Settings → Custom Code → Head.
- Webflow can't serve an arbitrary /llms.txt natively — put Cloudflare in front and serve it from a Worker, or use a reverse proxy.
